Licensed Physical Therapist AssistantJoin a team that's making a real difference. We're hiring a licensed PTA to work with one of our trusted clients where you'll support patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries—helping them manage pain and regain movement—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with next steps.Minimum Requirements:Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program.Active Alaska Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the position.BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.Experience providing PTA services in hospital-based rehabilitation, including inpatient and outpatient settings, is preferred.Ability to work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and follow APTA and state practice standards.Willingness to perform occasional multi-day travel to remote locations by boat or small plane and to provide community-based services including home assessments and outreach clinics.Competency documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, outcomes, and use of electronic health record systems.Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and to direct the work of support staff, students, or interns.Benefits:Generous retirement benefits.Paid time off and paid parental leave.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance and long- and short-term disability coverage.Continuing education funding for clinical development.Sign-on and relocation incentives for qualified hires.Location HighlightsJuneau, AK offers abundant outdoor recreation and cultural experiences.
