Job description
Physical Therapy AssistantProvides patient care under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist through performing treatment, communicating with the supervising PT and other health care professionals, and appropriate documentation. Participates in departmental/team quality improvement activities. Delegates appropriate tasks to PT technicians and supervises. Responsible for education of self, peers, patients, and students and assists with new employee orientation. Assists with or performs special projects.Associate's Degree or higher High School plus 2 years or more of formal training or education Specify: Physical Therapist Assistant Registration or Certification: North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy 5 years, less than 10 years of licensure is required.About ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie.
