nPosition Overview:
nJoin a collaborative rehabilitation team dedicated to helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence. As a Physical Therapist Assistant II, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services by implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and interventions, and supporting them throughout their recovery journey.
nWorking under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and within state practice guidelines, you may assist in developing treatment plans, monitor and document patient progress, and modify specific treatments within the established plan of care. Your clinical expertise, compassionate approach, and strong communication skills will help foster positive outcomes and create meaningful connections with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
nIn this role, you will uphold the highest standards of patient safety, privacy, and regulatory compliance while contributing to a culture of excellence and patient-centered care. You may also have opportunities to support the professional growth of future clinicians by serving as a clinical instructor for students.
nKey Highlights:
nDeliver hands-on physical therapy treatments that support patient recovery, mobility, and functional independence.
nAssist with treatment planning, ongoing patient assessment, and progress documentation within scope of practice.

nEDUCATION:
nOther: Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
nCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
nPTA-Registered Physical Therapist Assistant
nBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
nDEPARTMENT SPECIFIC CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE :
nDepartment - SCAH: Auto Insurance
nDepartment - SCAH: DL-Valid Drivers License
nTYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
n1 year of recent relevant experience.
nSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
nCritical thinking and problem solving, decisive judgement and ability to work within scope of practice.
nKnowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
nAbility to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
nComputer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
nDemonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
nAble to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.

nPay Range is $43.03 to $60.24 / hour
nThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
