Performs services planned, delegated and supervised by a qualified therapist. Assists in preparing clinical notes and progress reports. The procedures may include (but are not limited to): ultrasound treatment, application of heat and cold, massage, gait training, muscle stimulation, assistance and training in cardio-pulmonary exercise, mobilization, assistance and training with ambulation, range of motion exercises, patient transfer, strengthening techniques, electrotherapy, prosthetic training, and adaptive equipment. Participates in educating the patient and family.What We Are Going To Love About You:Minimum Education: Graduation from a Physical Therapy Assistant program, accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association, or equivalent program.Minimum Experience: At least two years of physical therapy assistant experience required.Required License: Current CPR certification. Valid Colorado driver's license and proof of automobile insurance in accordance with state statute.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs.Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is affiliated with Care Synergy, a nonprofit network of community-based hospice and palliative care organizations serving Colorado's Front Range and the Region's Largest Home Health, Hospice, and Palliative Care Network.
