nThe anticipated base pay range for this position is $28.00-$38.00. Pay is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.

nJob Description
nWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing healthcare team in Maryland. As a PTA, you will work collaboratively with our Physical Therapists to provide exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.
nnnImplement prescribed treatment plans under the supervision of Physical Therapists
n
nnConduct therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques
n
nnAssist patients with mobility, strength training, and functional activities
n
nnDocument patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
n
nnEducate patients and families about exercises and home programs
n
nnSet up and maintain therapy equipment
n
nnCollaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
n
nnMonitor and report patient responses to treatment
n
nnMaintain a safe and clean treatment environment
n
nnParticipate in team meetings and care planning sessions
n
n nQualifications
nnnGraduate of a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
n
nnCurrent Maryland state license or ability to obtain promptly
n
nnValid CPR certification
n
nnOutpatient orthopedic experience preferred
n
nnStrong manual therapy and exercise instruction skills
n
nnExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities
n
nnDemonstrated proficiency in therapeutic modalities
n
nnComprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology
n
nnStrong documentation and record-keeping skills
n
nnKnowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
n
nnAbility to multi-task and manage time effectively
n
nnCompassionate approach to patient care
n
nnTeam-oriented mindset with strong collaborative skills
n
nnPhysical ability to assist patients with mobility and exercises
n
