Physical Therapy AssistantTri-FLEXSI Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking experienced Physical Therapy Assistants for our locations in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with the physical therapist to assist in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.Responsibilities:Assist the physical therapist in carrying out treatment plans and exercises for patientsMonitor and document patient progress and report to the physical therapistAssist patients with activities of daily living, exercises, and mobility as directed by the physical therapistEducate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve their condition and prevent future injuriesCommunicate effectively and coordinate care with other members of the healthcare teamAdhere to all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and proceduresMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plansRequirements:High school diploma or GED equivalentAssociate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institutionMinimum of 1 year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, preferably in a home health settingCurrent state license to practice as a Physical Therapy AssistantStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCurrent CPR certificationValid driver's license and reliable transportationEEOC Statement: Tri-FLEXSI Home Health Care, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
