Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRNLocation: Mishawaka, IN Schedule: PRN, flexible hours including weekends for the inpatient/outpatient therapy department in Mishawaka.Department: Rehabilitation ServicesJoin a dynamic rehab team where your hands-on care helps patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence. As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver personalized treatment plans, track progress, and support patients throughout their recovery journey.What You'll DoDeliver therapeutic exercises and treatments as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.Document patient progress clearly and accurately using standardized assessments.Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.Collaborate with the care team during treatment planning, discharge preparation, and daily huddles.Participate in performance improvement initiatives and accreditation readiness.Maintain therapy equipment and report any issues to ensure a safe environment.What We're Looking ForGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programActive PTA license in the State of Indiana1–2 years in a clinical setting preferred (new grads welcome!)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt to varying treatment loads and schedulesTeam-oriented mindset with a passion for patient careWhat We Offer to PRN PTAsDaily PayRetirement savings accountEmployee referral incentive programWhy Saint Joseph Health System?At Saint Joseph, our values guide every decision we make.
