Physical Therapist AssistantThe Staff Pad has partnered with a prestigious healthcare organization in Hamilton, Texas to find a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join their growing Physical Therapy team. In this role you will administer and oversee physician-prescribed physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities to support patient rehabilitation and recovery.What You'll Do Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physician-directed therapy services by:Delivering physical therapy treatments according to prescribed plans and scheduled appointmentsPreparing, educating, and monitoring patients throughout treatment sessions to ensure safe and effective careAdministering therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and ambulatory procedures while providing age-appropriate care in accordance with departmental policiesDocumenting treatments accurately and communicating patient progress to therapists, physicians, and leadershipMaintaining therapy equipment through routine upkeep, cleaning, sanitization, storage, and minor preventive maintenanceAdditional Requirements:Maintain patient confidentiality and provide exceptional patient serviceCommunicate effectively with medical staff and other healthcare professionalsFollow infection control, safety procedures, and Healthcare System policiesProcess daily therapy service chargesWhat We Are Looking For:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programCurrent Texas PTA license requiredKnowledge of physical therapy equipment and proceduresStrong verbal and written communication skillsCPR certificationPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient transfers; push/pull up to 300 lbs as neededWhat You Can Expect:Competitive Hourly PayPaid Time Off & HolidaysHealth & Supplemental InsuranceDirect DepositFitness Center MembershipEducation ReimbursementRetirement PlanIf you are a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant dedicated to providing exceptional care, and looking to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives every day, we encourage you to apply today!
