nSalary: $67,000 - $82,000 / Paid on a Pay Per Point basis. The compensation reflected on this posting is an estimate of annual compensation for full-time status.
nSchedule: FT/M-F, 8am-5pm

nWhat You Need to Know
nThe Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, is responsible for providing treatment to patients, functioning as a member of the interdisciplinary team, provides patient and family education and counseling regarding concerns, planning, implementing and modifying treatment procedures, maintaining appropriate documentation according to policies and procedures and current standards of practice. The Physical Therapist Assistant manages a caseload in conjunction with supervising therapist and in accordance with agency productivity standards,
nattends and participates in patient and other conferences and agency in-services as assigned.

nIf you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:
nnnAssociates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
n
nnHave a valid license, registration, or permit to practice in state of agency operation
n
nnMust possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role
n
nnMust be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations
n
nnBe able to implement care plans and communicate any findings or changes in regards to patients back to the Physical Therapist and physician
n
nnAbility to educate patients and their families in basic home safety and medical equipment safety
n
n nResponsibilities:
nAs a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:
nnnProvides patient care and documents treatment in accordance with physicians orders, agency policy and patient needs.
n
nnDocuments appropriate interventions, approaches, strategies, materials and establishing treatment priorities.
n
nnProvides organized and efficient patient treatment which includes advising, educating and counseling the patient.
n
nnPresents pertinent patient information to supervising therapist and keeps team informed of patient status.
n
nnProvides appropriate skilled treatment to patients according to patient needs and within the parameters set by the agency and payer.
n
nnSeeks and accepts assistance from team members in treatment planning and intervention.
n
nnAccurately documents, completes and submits daily notes, assists with other required forms in a timely manner to prevent interruptions in patient care.
n
nnMeets agency productivity standards and uses work hours efficiently.
n
nnAttends and participates in agency meetings and committees as assigned.
n
nnAppropriately negotiates the patient' s participation in treatment, treatment times and treatment plans.
n
