Job Description
Physical Therapy Assistant - Rehabilitation
Schedule
Days, 8-hour shifts.
Assignment Details
13 - 26 week commitment, with a guaranteed 40 hours/week.
Requirements
Active physical therapy assistant license.
General certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP.
Rehabilitation certifications: ASHA, CHT, ACP Training.
No minimum years of experience required.
Responsibilities Assist patients in rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Prepare treatment areas and assist with the implementation of therapy interventions.
Document patient progress and report to supervising therapist.
Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean work environment.
Provide support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation process.
Compliance / Notes
Parking and dress code information will be provided on the first day.
