Position Overview
Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation services within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role is ideal for a motivated clinician who is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and improve functional independence through structured therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed therapy techniques and safety practices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient-centered care
Maintain compliance with facility policies and rehabilitation standards
Required Qualifications
Active California Physical Therapy Assistant license
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
Familiarity with NetHealth (Rehab Optima) documentation system preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Schedule & Work Details
Shift: Day shift
Guaranteed Hours: 38 per week
Overtime: Applicable after 40 hours per week
On-Call: Not required
Holiday Requirement: Not required
