Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Pediatric Early ChildhoodPediatric Autism & Early Childhood Clinic Kansas City Metro (Grain Valley & Liberty) Full-Time $47,840–$52,000/year ($23–$25/hr)A growing pediatric therapy program is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support early-intervention services for children ages 2–7 with autism and developmental delays. This role is ideal for PTAs who love play-based therapy, collaboration, and helping young children build motor skills in a supportive, multidisciplinary setting.Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small-group pediatric PT sessions under the supervision of a licensed PTAssist with evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatment planningManage a pediatric caseload and maintain daily progress notesCollaborate with PTs, OTs, BCBAs, SLPs, and early childhood staffParticipating in staff meetings, parent communication, and training as neededSupport program development and maintain a safe, engaging therapy environmentPhysical Therapy Assistant (PTA) QualificationsActive Missouri PTA license (required)Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program1–2 years of pediatric experience preferredPassion for working with young childrenTeam-oriented, enthusiastic, and professionalAbility to bend, kneel, crouch, and lift to 25 lbs. during sessionsCPR certification or the ability to obtainCompensation & Benefits$23–$25/hour ($47,840–$52,000/year)Medical, dental, visionPTO + 8 paid holidays401(k)Professional developmentFlexible daytime scheduleCollaborative, supportive clinical environmentScheduleDaytime clinic hoursOn-site role across multiple clinic locationsFull-time with a consistent caseload
