Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow! In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers:· Financial & Career Growth: Higher education and certification tuition assistance, loan assistance and 401(k) retirement package and company match.· Employee Well-being: Mental, physical, and financial wellness programs (free gym memberships, virtual care appointments, mental health services and discount programs).· Professional Development: Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities.What you will do in this role:Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Essential Functions Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapists using appropriate modalities.Seeks consultation as necessary.Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan.Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.Documents services provided and patient response/progress.Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.Assists with patient discharge planning.Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.Non-Essential FunctionsQualifications:· Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program· Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state where services are rendered· Associate's degree Required; Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required· Current CPR certification· Strong organizational and communication skillsBasic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hire Required SkillsEEOC StatementLifepoint Rehabilitation an Equal Opportunity Employer.
