This role plays a key part in helping residents improve mobility, strength, and overall independence.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide therapy treatments as directed by the Physical TherapistFollow physician treatment plans and care goalsDocument daily treatments and weekly progress notes accuratelyAssist with rehabilitation and care planning meetingsCommunicate patient progress with the interdisciplinary teamAssist with discharge planning and caregiver educationMaintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipmentSupport training of restorative aides and nursing staffEnsure compliance with state practice act and facility policiesQualificationsActive Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in South Carolina (in good standing)Graduate of an accredited PTA programExperience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferredFamiliarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferredStrong clinical, documentation, and communication skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
