Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Springfield, VAWe are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative multidisciplinary pediatric clinic in Northern Virginia. The PTA will provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping pediatric patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional skills.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions within the PTA's scope of practice.Assist pediatric patients with mobility, balance, coordination, strength, and functional development.Monitor patient progress and response to treatment.Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist.Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary care teams.Provide patient-centered care based on each child's developmental and functional needs.QualificationsAssociate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.Current Virginia PTA license.Current CPR/BLS certification.Pediatric experience preferred.Benefits401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Retirement planContinuing education opportunitiesLicense reimbursementBonus opportunitiesFlexible scheduling
