Physical Therapy AssistantUnder the direction of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant role assists in the provision of physical therapy interventions to patients/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education: Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapy Assistant required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
