Physical Therapy AssistantProvides various treatment programs and procedures in collaboration with supervisor and other staff therapists.Minimum RequirementsEducation:Graduate of an accredited program for physical therapy assistants.Experience:Preference is given to applicants with a minimum of two years experience in the field or one year experience working in a physical therapy department of an acute care facility.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Demonstrates maturity to function independently, organize work and set priorities appropriately.License/Certification/Registration:Possess current PTA licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.Supervision Received:Receives general supervision from the Manager of Rehabilitation Services. Daily supervision provided by a licensed Physical Therapist as mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.Supervision Given:PTA students
