Physical Therapy AssistantThe Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy patient treatment within the established plan of care and treatment protocols and under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.QualificationsAge of Patients Served:All Age Groups. RequiredEducation:Associate's Degree; Graduate from an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistant approved by the Council of Medical Education in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.Required Licensure/Certifications:Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida.BLS from the American Heart AssociationRequired Experience:Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (Acute, outpatient, etc.). Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services preferredNecessary Skills:Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of Physical Therapy treatment interventionsDemonstrate strong communication skills. Proactive, positive approach to problem solvingDemonstrates strong ability to use computer, Microsoft Office suite.Able to work independently
