nBAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Oahu Visits team. PTA's assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as outlined by a licensed Physical Therapist. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality home health care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability. nPhysical Therapist Assistant License required in the state of Hawaii
nHow You'll Make an Impact:
nnnBe partnered with an experienced and supportive home health Physical Therapist
n
nnAssist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
n
nnImplement appropriate individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions
n
nnEducate and instruct clients, family members, and other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living
n
nnAccurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet
n

n nQualifications for a BAYADA Physical Therapy Assistants:
nnnHave graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, OR
n
nnHave two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam
n
nnSolid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
n

nType: full-time
nBase Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $50-$55 per point
