nPosition Overview:

nResponsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice level competencies and is a recognized clinical or workflow subject matter expert. Responsible for developing key workflows and clinical protocols or guidelines for department. Serves as a resource in the education, training and mentoring of other staff and as a clinical instructor for assigned students. May coordinate staff education and student programs. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.

nGraduate of an accredited physical therapy school

nCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

nPT-Physical Therapist

nBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

nDEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

nDepartment: Home Health, DL-Valid Drivers License

nDepartment: Home Health, AUTO-Automobile Insurance

nTYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

n5 years of recent relevant experience.

nSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

nCollaborates with key stakeholders in developing solutions.

nCritical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.

nKnowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.

nMust be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.

nComputer and required technology proficiency/competencies.

nDemonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.

nPay Range is $67.43 to $94.40 / hour

nThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
