Exciting Opportunity for Physical Therapists!
Job Description:
- Position : Contract - Physical Therapy
- Duration : 13 Weeks
- Schedule : 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Location : Las Palmas Rehab Hospital (Specific location removed for privacy)
- Facility Department Number : 774
- Requirements :
- Texas State License in Physical Therapy
- Inpatient Rehab Experience
- BLS Certification
- Pediatric Experience Preferred
- Bilingual Preferred (to serve a diverse patient population)
- Unit Information :
- Number of Beds : Covering both Rehab and potential acute/outpatient as volume dictates
- Staffing : 2 Full-Time PTs and 2 PTAs on Day Shift
- Patient Ratios :
- 5-6 patients in inpatient rehab
- 12-15 patients in acute care
- 6-7 patients in outpatient
- Responsibilities :
- Conduct PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments as needed
- Participate in team conferences, family training, and home assessments
- Work Environment :
- Energetic atmosphere that embraces collaboration among healthcare team members
- Focus on providing exceptional patient care with a strong commitment to developing patient relationships
- Dress Code :
- Scrub Color: Navy
- No Crocs or visible tattoos allowed; hairstyles must comply with CDC guidelines for N95 wearers
- Unit Policies : Familiarity with AIDET and ICARES principles is preferred
