Job Description:
- Position: Physical Therapist
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 281
- Staff Composition:
- PT: 11
- PTA: 2
- PRN Office Coordinators: 2
- PT's PRN: 8
- Day Shift: All staff work the day shift
- Patient Ratios:
- 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift
- Assigned: 10-13 patients
- Equipment Used:
- Walkers, Crutches, Braces, Wheelchairs
- Documentation System:
- Meditech
- Call Requirements:
- Call by 7:00 AM at
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid Florida License
- Typical Procedures Performed:
- Evaluations
- Treatment
- Gait Training
- Therapeutic Exercises
- Therapeutic Activities
- Additional Preferences:
- Quick learner who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and learn Meditech swiftly
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Dress Code:
