Job description
Physical Therapy TechnicianUnder the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician the person will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred.Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.OakBend Medical Center is an independent hospital providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients and the community since 1950.
