Job description
Physical Therapy TechnicianUnder the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician the person will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCEPrevious experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSBasic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIESKnowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses.
