As a PT Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists and ensuring the best possible care for our patients.Prepare treatment areas and set up necessary equipment for therapy sessionsAdminister hot and cold packs and other modalities as directed by physical therapistsGuide patients through prescribed exercises and monitor their progressMaintain and clean therapy equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environmentAssist patients with mobility and transfers as neededPerform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient recordsCollaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient clinic operationsProvide a positive and supportive environment for patients during their rehabilitation journeyQualificationsStrong work ethic and a responsible attitudeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGenuine interest in helping people and a caring, empathetic natureOutstanding organizational and time management abilitiesBasic knowledge of physical therapy techniques and equipmentAbility to follow instructions accurately and adhere to safety protocolsPhysical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment throughout the dayProficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentFlexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and clinic schedulesStrong attention to detail in maintaining patient records and following treatment plansCommitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of physical therapyThis position pays between $15.50 - $17.50 per hour depending on experience.
