Facility:
This state-of-the-art Cancer Center has held Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984 and serves approximately 1,200 new cancer cases per year. The facility features a 24-bay outpatient Oncology infusion department with an on-site pharmacist, on-site laboratory services, a dedicated Radiation Oncology department, and access to nationwide clinical trials through UC-NCORP. The center operates on Epic EMR and is supported by robust Oncology supportive services and a collegial medical staff.

Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
Fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist opportunity at a growing Cancer Center
Board Eligible or Board Certified candidates considered; Board Certification is highly preferred
Full-time, permanent position requiring residency within the immediate local area
Outpatient and clinic-based practice with very limited hospital rounding
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours per week)
On-call coverage for practice and inpatient Oncology patients; no weekend call
Average of 15-25 patients per day
Practice is in a rebuilding phase; first physician will be onsite independently until a second provider is hired
Desired start date: ASAP
Active South Carolina medical license required (or willingness to obtain)
Completed fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology required
Clean malpractice and license history required
DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start
Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates
Not open to locum, commuter, 1099, or secondary employment candidates
Facility Trauma Level: Level 2
Compensation:
