Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in Anesthesiology
Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport seeks applicants to join our team in the Department of Anesthesiology, under the leadership of Wendy K. Bernstein, MD, MBA, FASA, FAMWA.

Diverse Clinical Exposure: Care for patients across multiple sites, including our Academic Medical Center, St. Mary Medical Center, Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, and OLHS Regional Urology Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Robust Academic Community: LSU Health Sciences Center is home to 800+ students across the Schools of Medicine, Graduate Studies, and Allied Health Professions, with nearly 600 residents and fellows trained annually.
Level I Trauma Center: Be part of the only Level I Trauma Center in the region and one of just two in Louisiana.
Board Certified starting pay $600k
Minimal call, with 40-hr week of Monday-Friday, 7a-3p
OT and Weekend additional comp
Qualifications
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Advanced training/fellowship in Peds, OB, Critical Care, or Cardiac are encouraged to apply
Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure
New graduates welcome – mentorship provided to support early-career faculty
Strong commitment to teaching, scholarly activity, and patient-centered care
