Location: Moultrie, GA | Schedule: Full-time, on-site; 7 on/7 off rotation (subject to mutual agreement with anesthesiology team)
Overview
A community hospital system in south Georgia is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist/Critical Care physician to join its Anesthesia team. The hospital offers a full complement of surgical and critical care services, and this role is central to delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia and critical care coverage alongside a collaborative team of physicians, CRNAs, and Anesthesiologist Assistants.
What you'll do
Provide anesthesiology and critical care coverage as part of a team with two anesthesiologists scheduled per shift
Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs)
Take call during the week on rotation, including critical care call and backup coverage for anesthesiologists
Partner with pulmonology and critical care physicians for daily rounds in a 10-bed open ICU (consult only)
Work across 7 OR suites and 2 endoscopy suites
Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
Utilize modern anesthesia technology, including new anesthesia machines with integrated ultrasound, a Glideslope for emergency airways, and a Belmont rapid infuser
Required qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
Critical Care experience
