nResponsibilities
nnnExperience and proficiency with: trauma, vascular, neuro cases
n
nnHigh acuity patients (ASA III & IV)
n
nnComfortable working with CRNAs and Resident Registered Nurse Anesthetists in a supervision model as well as doing own cases if needed.
n
nn24/7 call coverage/ shared call model
n
nnIn hospital cases: general surgery, trauma, neuro, vascular, interventional cardiology/EP, urology, healthy pediatrics
n
nnEvaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
n
nnPatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
n
nnExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
n
n nQualifications
nnnMD or DO
n
nnBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
n
nnAbility to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
n
nnHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
n
nnEligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
n
nnJ-1 waiver sponsorship available
