Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Central Maryland (ASAP - Ongoing)We are seeking a qualified and board-eligible or certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment near Annapolis, MD. This locum tenens role is available ASAP, with ongoing opportunities, and provides flexibility with no weekends, no call, and a Monday to Friday schedule.Position Overview: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing End Date: Ongoing (initial assignment until October 10, 2024) Practice Setting: Outpatient (No inpatient duties required) Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Procedures: Urology-focused procedures requiring general/MAC anesthesia Patient Load: Approximately 8 patients per shift Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (No call, no weekends) Provider Count: One anesthesiologist per location EMR System: CernerKey Requirements: Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in the state of Maryland Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology Certifications Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) Privileges: Provider must be able to obtain temporary hospital/surgery center privileges quicklyBenefits: Structured Schedule: Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday workweek, with no on-call duties or weekend requirements, allowing for excellent work-life balance.
