A healthcare system is seeking Anesthesiologists for locum tenens coverage across multiple sites with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.$410/hrPosition DetailsSpecialty: AnesthesiologyPractice Setting: Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery CentersCoverage Type: Locum TenensStart Date: June 29, 2026Contract Length: 26+ weeksPositions Needed: 6Schedule45 days per weekShifts typically 810 hoursMinimum 40 hours per week expectedNo call requiredMust be able to work at least 2 weeks per monthClinical ResponsibilitiesProvide anesthesia for inpatient and outpatient surgical casesWork across multiple sites including high acuity inpatient settings and ambulatory centersCase mix includes:General anesthesia casesOccasional regional anesthesiaNo cardiac, liver, or neuro casesPractice EnvironmentProviders will be floated across multiple sitesWork includes:High acuity inpatient cases (ASA 3+ preferred)Outpatient surgical proceduresPrimarily working solo in the OR, with occasional CRNA supervisionSupport staff includes CRNAsPatient PopulationAdolescents (13+) and adultsEMR: EpicCredentialingEstimated timeframe: 6090 daysRequirementsBoard Certified in Anesthesiology (or truly Board Eligible) requiredCalifornia license requiredDEA (California, Schedule II) requiredBLS (AHA) requiredMinimum 2 years of anesthesiology experience requiredRecent experience in inpatient and outpatient surgical cases requiredExperience working solo requiredRecent experience at tertiary care centers requiredAdditional NotesProviders must be comfortable covering both inpatient and outpatient settingsRegional anesthesia experience preferredTrauma experience preferredMust provide 2 references for review prior to offerAbout WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparency
