Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated Anesthesiologist - Generalist to join our partner, a leading medical center in Corning, NY. Provide Expert Anesthesia Care in a Level III Trauma Setting
As a Generalist Anesthesiologist, you will provide comprehensive anesthesia services in a fast-paced Level III Trauma Center. You will perform a wide range of cases, medically direct CRNAs and residents, and have opportunities for teaching and mentorship. This position offers a unique blend of clinical practice and leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Provide general anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical procedures, including trauma cases.
Medically direct CRNAs and residents, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Participate in teaching and mentorship programs.
Manage the OR schedule, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities.
