Job description
Position Summary
Provides comprehensive anesthesiology medical care, including anesthesia for cardiothoracic surgery, to all patients served by Hillsboro Medical Center. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes a team concept and reflects our values of Compassion, Collaboration, Excellence and Integrity.

Our Anesthesiology team is growing; join a stable group that is expanding
Enjoy a collegial, relaxed setting and excellent rapport with providers and staff in a Care Team Model
Provide coverage at only one hospital site
Nice variety of cases which include general surgery, neuro/backs, vascular, robot, ENT, GI, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, urology, orthopedics, and NORA cases; no trauma or hearts
Call is currently Q7
Required Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited medical school with appropriate residency training
Maintains Oregon licensure; accreditation to practice within realm of specialty
Active staff membership in good standing with the medical staff of the hospital with all privileges and responsibilities accorded such membership
Demonstrates skill in caring for specialty-related patients
Uses effective communication skills to work with patients, families and co-workers in "simple" as well as in "difficult" situations
Excellent customer service skills
Bilingual skills a plus
