Job Details: Specialty: Internal Medicine - Interventional Cardiology Department: Cardiology Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Long-Term Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Provider Details: Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Call Only EMR System: Epic Facility Accepts Multiple Providers: Yes Practice Setting: Inpatient Is Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required?: No Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges Required?: No Admissions Required?: Yes Practice Details: Patients Per Shift: 15-18 Bed In Department: 400 Rounding: Both Board Certification Requirement: Yes Fellowship Requirement: Required Minimum Board Certification: Eligible Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS License Requirement: Licensed in IL or IMLC Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days Description/Other Details: We require an interventional cardiologist to work one weekend a month ongoing. The schedule for this weekend call is from Friday 5 pm to Monday 8 am, with the specific weekend chosen at the discretion of the physician. Additionally, we need coverage for one evening shift per week, from 5 pm to 8 am. The weekday for this shift is also flexible and can be chosen by the physician.
