Description:
Specialty: Anesthesiologist.
Schedule consists of days with a rotation in call coverage.
Typical work is 5 shifts of 8 hours each or 2 shifts of 8 hours and a 24-hour shift to total 40 hours a week.
The schedule may change each week.
Support staff includes CRNAs and anesthesia techs.
Full-time coverage needed is approximately 40 hours a week.
The average patient load is 10 patients per day.
The patient population focuses on adult individuals, with no pediatrics.
Department operates with a total of 76 hospital beds, 4 operating rooms, labor and delivery, and a catheterization lab.
Skills required include proficiency in providing anesthesia blocks for orthopedic cases.
Credentialing timeframe is 90 days, with temporary privileges available for clean files.
Compliance with all credentialing requirements is necessary prior to the start date.
Health requirements such as vaccinations, physicals, and fit assessments are required.
