Locum Tenens Anesthesiology Physician Location: Near Horizon City, TX

Dates: ASAP - Ongoing

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Anesthesiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Horizon City, TX. This position offers full-time hours with a flexible schedule in a level 2 trauma center. The role includes both outpatient and inpatient work, with a focus on CRNA supervision and some solo cases. If you are board-eligible or certified and proficient in regional anesthesia, this could be a perfect fit.

Position Overview: Position Type : Locum Tenens

Start Date : ASAP

End Date : April 1, 2025 (with potential for extension)

Full-Time Hours : Minimum of 2 continuous weeks per month

Practice Setting : Outpatient and Inpatient

Call Requirements : Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise CRNAs in both outpatient and inpatient settings, handling a variety of cases

Perform some solo anesthesiology cases

Provide proficiency in regional anesthesia

No cardiac cases involved

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

Board Certification : Required (Board-eligible also considered)

Fellowship : Preferred but not required

License : Must hold an active Texas medical license

Certifications :ACLS : Required

BLS : Required

Temporary Privileges : Available for quick onboarding

Facility and Practice Details: Facility Type : Level 2 trauma center

EMR System : Cerner

Privileges : Required for hospital/surgery center

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 90 days

Holidays Allowed : New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
