Quick Facts Location: Tacoma, WA Start Date: 05/16/2026 Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: Typically 8-hour shifts Hours/week: Flexible (as per facility needs) Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: Fellowship in Anesthesiology, state medical license (must be active) Experience: Prior pediatric anesthesia experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide pediatric cardiac anesthesia in a standalone hospital setting transitioning from Tacoma General Perform anesthesia for approximately one surgery per day, including support for Cath/EP labs and cardiac imaging procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain documentation standards Support the hospital's transition and contribute to quality patient care What You Need Medical doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with Fellowship trained in Anesthesiology Valid state medical license in Washington Prior experience in pediatric anesthesia, particularly cardiac anesthesia preferred Strong communication and team collaboration skills About the Assignment This opportunity is with a leading healthcare facility in Tacoma, Washington, which is expanding its pediatric surgical services at a dedicated standalone hospital.
