Perform well child exams, sick visits, follow up evaluations
Obtain medical histories, conduct physical examination, diagnose and manage common pediatric conditions
Order and interpret labs and diagnostic studies
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practice
Monitor growth, development and immunization, preventative care needs
Provide patient and parent education, anticipatory guidance and counseling
Identify conditions requiring referrals
Maintain timely and accurate medical records
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistance to ensure high quality of patient care Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited PA program, current state license
NCCPA certification
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Pediatric experience preferred
