The Certified Physician Assistant will support orthopedic care for a mixed-age patient population. This role will assess patients, support diagnosis and treatment planning, manage prescriptions, assist with procedures, provide education and follow-up care, surgical assistant and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
* Assess orthopedic patients across a mixed-age population.
* Perform physical examinations and support diagnosis.
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
* Manage prescriptions in accordance with clinical plans and applicable requirements.
* Educate patients about conditions, treatments, and ongoing care.
* Complete accurate clinical documentation.
* Assist with orthopedic procedures and provide follow-up care.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
* State physician assistant license.
Preferred Qualifications
* At least 1 year of experience in physician assistant practice.
* Clinical assessment and differential diagnosis skills.
* Experience with electronic health records.
* Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and team collaboration skills.
