Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team, providing patient-centered care in a combined Family Practice and Urgent Care setting. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, as well as acute care for urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses in patients across the lifespan
* Provide urgent care services, including minor procedures, suturing, splinting, and wound care
* Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
* Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans
* Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications:
* Current Physician Assistant license and certification
* Valid state RN and APRN licensure
* BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience in family practice and/or urgent care preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Work Schedule:
* Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
* Rotating shifts between family practice and urgent care
