Job Overview
Provide emergency medicine coverage for blocked shifts in select emergency departments across the Northeast and Midwest. The position is based in NewYork City, with travel paid and additional benefits such as free hotels and flights during blocked time off.
Responsibilities
Deliver emergency medicine coverage across multiple state locations.
Treat high‑acuity and fast‑track patients with competence and confidence.
Participate in team‑based care, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians.
Maintain documentation and comply with credentialing requirements.
Actively engage in mentorship and professional development opportunities provided by TeamHealth.
Qualifications
5 years of recent emergency medicine experience.
Proficiency in treating both high‑acuity and fast‑track patients.
Advanced practice clinicians who are adaptive, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a team‑player attitude.
Flexibility and willingness to travel between locations.
Valid state licensure and certification in emergency medicine or related specialty.
