Job Overview
Fairview is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Emergency Medicine team at FairviewLakesMedical Center.
Practice Details
Join a team of7APP's and15Physicians
FTE: 0.6 - 0.8
ED Hours: 10am-6pm, 9am-5pm Saturday/Sunday/holidays
Urgent Care Hours: 12pm-8pm Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday/Sunday/holidays
Weekend rotation - 18 weekends per year
Holidays: Some holidays required
Fairview Lakes Medical Centeris a65 licensed bed facility and 24 bed ED
Level IV Trauma Center
Department sees an average of 77 patients per day
Annual Emergency Department volumes: 28,000
Approximately 15% of the Emergency Department visits are pediatrics
Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accreditedPhysician Assistanttraining program
BC/BE through the NCCPA
Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required)
A minimum of 2 years of PA experience is preferred
New grads who have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency/Fellowship will be considered

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
