Job description
Position Highlights:
Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients
Perform examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment
Provide follow-up care and coordinate specialty referrals
Order labs and diagnostic testing as appropriate
Address disease prevention and health promotion
Educate patients and families on preventive care, diagnoses, and treatment
Maintain accurate, confidential electronic medical records
Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff for consultation and referral
Participate in quality assurance and peer review programs
Contribute to health promotion, education, and prevention initiatives
Participate in staff conferences, training, workshops, and meetings
Work across multiple sites with local travel as needed
Flexible schedule may include evenings and weekends
Qualifications:
Current California Physician Assistant license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred
One year of directly related experience preferred
Community or public health experience preferredFamily Planning Certificate required if working in a family planning program
Reliable transportation
Strong clinical judgment, communication, professionalism, and adaptability
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Compensation & Benefits:
$155,750.40 - $180,564.80 Salary
