Job description
Hospitalist Physician Assistant – Maryville, IL
We are seeking Nurse Practitioners with demonstrated inpatient experience to join our stable, privately–owned group.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in 7 a.m.–7 p.m. physician rounding.
Provide inpatient care for patients on two physician rounders.
Admit patients and perform ICU procedures such as intubation and central line placement.
Cover night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) as in‑house provider.
Handle mid‑shift NP duties from 12 p.m.–12 a.m., including admissions and ICU procedures.
Work in a 154‑bed acute care facility on a block scheduling model.
Use Meditech EMR system.
Accept training program for qualified candidates.
Compensation: $65 – $70 per hour.
