Physician Assistant - Internal Medicine physician employment in New York :
We are a growing, physician-owned medical group expanding in Syracuse, NYseekingan experienced Physician Assistant to join ourinternal medicineteam in aSkilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
'Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care toSNFpatients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Responsible forfull medical management and primary care
Ensureaccurateandtimelydocumentation in EMR
' Required Qualifications
Active Physician Assistant licensein New York
Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Minimum 1 year ofinternal medicineexperience as a PA
Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting
' Preferred Experience
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
Background in internal medicine,geriatricsor inpatient hospitalist
' Schedule & Setting
Monday through Friday
No nights, no weekends

' Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds.
May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
Mustcomply withfacility vaccination requirements.
