Support services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients, and the scope of service is consistent with the current mission of the hospital to provide quality community-based primary health care to Jefferson and surrounding counties.
Job Description:
We’re seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team at Jefferson Hospital.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The Physicians’ Health Group Physician Assistant is responsible for examining and diagnosing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and managing patient care under the direction of a licensed physician.
Position Requirements:
Master’s Degree from an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited program.
Certification by the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Georgia.
Current BLS, ACLS and PALS Certifications.
