Job description
Job Location: Jacobi - Bronx, NY 10461 | Position: Physician Assistant – Gastrointestinal, NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx.
Opportunity Details
Provide direct patient care in a unit that performs over 4,000 procedures annually.
Perform and document complete histories and physical examinations, ordering of tests, and reviewing results.
Make referrals as necessary.
Document findings in the electronic medical record.
Consult with supervising medical provider when appropriate.
Counsel patients and families regarding care.
Qualifications
Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant
Current certification issued by the NCCPA
NRP and PALS certification
Wages and Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $131,127* – $174,836* based on 40‑hour work week and years of state licensure.
Estimated annual total value of compensation package: $144,239** – $192,319**, including baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS limits)
Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
