Up Clinics is an occupational medicine and urgent care clinic. We provide work-related injury care and related services.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in occupational medicine, workplace injury management, and preventive care for employees across a wide range of industries.
Responsibilities include:
* Conducting pre-employment physicals, DOT exams, and return-to-work evaluations
* Evaluating and managing work-related injuries and illnesses
* Performing minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
* Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and employers for continuity of care
* Documenting clinical findings accurately and timely in EMR
* Supporting wellness initiatives and preventive care programs
Qualifications:
* Current and valid PA-C license in California
* BLS/CPR certification (ACLS a plus)
* Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, or Primary Care preferred
* Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and time management skills
* DOT certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
