Job description

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

A Different Kind of APP Opportunity

We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who believes great healthcare starts with how you make people feel.

Our practice is looking for an empathetic, charismatic provider who enjoys building relationships with patients, working closely with physicians and staff, and becoming part of a team where everyone genuinely looks out for one another.

These are patients who value a provider who will slow down, listen, explain things clearly, and make them feel comfortable.

If you are the type of person who can walk into a room, put a patient at ease, and make them feel like they are talking to someone who genuinely cares, we want to meet you.

What You Will Do

You will work primarily in our outpatient clinic while also participating in hospital rounding one day each week.

Your responsibilities will include:

Evaluating and caring for patients in the outpatient setting

Conducting pre operative and post operative consultations

Rounding in the hospital for several hours once per week

Educating patients and families about their care and treatment plans

Collaborating closely with physicians and the clinical team

Building long term relationships with patients

Helping patients feel informed, respected, and confident in their care

The Schedule

Monday through Friday

8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

No holidays

Hospital rounding for several hours once per week

This is a great fit for an APP who wants a rewarding clinical role while maintaining a consistent daytime schedule.

Who We Are Looking For

A Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Someone experienced would be ideal but we will look at new graduates.

Experience matters, but personality matters just as much.

Warm and approachable

Charismatic and personable

Patient and a good listener

Empathetic and compassionate

Comfortable working with an older patient population

Someone who can explain complicated medical information in a simple way

Someone who makes patients feel comfortable and respected

A dependable team player

Someone who takes pride in their work

Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people

Think of the provider who walks into a room and immediately makes everyone feel a little more comfortable.

Our Culture:

We believe exceptional healthcare is about more than the care we provide. It is about how we treat our patients, support our teammates, and make people feel throughout their experience.

Take pride in your work, the care you provide, and the positive impact you have on the people you serve.

Treat every patient, family member, physician, and teammate with dignity, kindness, and respect.

Be accountable for your responsibilities, your patients, your work, and the commitments you make.

Work together, support one another, and recognize that the best patient care comes from a strong and connected team.

Give patients the knowledge they need to understand their condition, make informed decisions, and feel confident in their care.

Treat every patient as a person, not a number. Listen, care, and remember that the experience we create can be just as important as the care we deliver.

Create lasting trust through honesty, reliability, communication, and doing what is right for our patients, physicians, teammates, and community.
