Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients undergoing radiologic procedures, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and requesting additional diagnostic tests when necessary.
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.
Educate patients and their families about radiologic procedures, expected outcomes, and post-procedure care, fostering a supportive and informative environment.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, document all findings and updating electronic health records accurately and promptly.
Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and treatment protocols.
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance radiology services and improve patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
Qualifications
Current NYS RN and NP or PA license required.
DEA and BLS/ACLS certification required.
Previous experience in Radiology preferred.
CCTA experience is a plus not required.
